Wendy Bergant joined Changing Perspectives as a Program Specialist, bringing over 30 years of dedicated experience in special education to support our mission of empowering schools and students. Throughout her career as an Intervention Specialist and administrator, Wendy has championed individuals with autism, neurodivergence, social-emotional and behavioral challenges, mental health needs, and trauma. She specializes in transition services for students aged 18–22 and holds certifications in Social Thinking, sensory integration, trauma, ACES, and Transition to Work. Wendy’s educational philosophy centers on empowerment: “Every student has a story worth honoring. My role is to help them write the next chapter with confidence and support.” When not working, she enjoys time with her family and dogs, hiking, yoga, and reading.
