An early childhood researcher and developmental psychologist by training, Dr. Sangeeta Mallik has dedicated most of her 23-year career supporting children with disabilities and their families. Currently, she is the Director of the Family Centered Care team at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center NICU in San Jose, California, where she supports families as they navigate their often intense, difficult journeys through their children’s time in high-level care. Sangeeta resides in Saratoga, California, with her daughter and autistic son, and is an avid volunteer at their schools. She joined the Changing Perspectives board of directors in June 2023 to share her passion about disability inclusion in educational and workforce settings.
