Unpacking Inclusion

Inclusion of all students in a school community strengthens the fabric of the community, encourages empathetic collaboration and communication, supports understanding and respect of diversity, and, ultimately, benefits all learners. In this workshop, we will unpack inclusion into digestible chunks so that any educator can begin to consider practical ways that they can create a more inclusive classroom. We will cover three types of inclusion: academic, physical, and social. In addition, participants will walk away with their own inclusion checklist to begin making tangible changes in their schools.
